22 May 2008 - New website for Twismo Financial Planning featuring a news article system

My goal on this project was to build the Twismo Financial Planning website from a design supplied to me. Previous to starting work on this project I had been working on version 2 of my content management system. Some newly developed features of it were a news article system, user profile management, and a gallery.

My CMS is pre built and attached to a blank wireframe website template which I developed alongside it. So when I started work on the Twismo site I already had alot of it in place, all I had to do was apply the design to my template with CSS and a little XHTML modifying, and set the correct admin privilages. For example only the system manager can edit other user's profiles.

The time taken to apply the design to my template and put the rest of the pages together was relatively short as I am quite experienced with XHTML and CSS now. I also cross browser tested the website in all the main browsers.

In the Service Packages section I also developed a footer navigation for navigated to other packages. It is all contained in a single include file and omits the link to the current packages that you are looking at.
