eConnected Corporate Styling

Written by Dave Sellers

7 Feb 2008 - Various aspects of eConnected's corporate styling including Google AdWords banners.

There are various parts to this project all completed at different times.

Firstly there are the eConnected Google AdWords banners I created in Adobe Photoshop. There are seven different sizes specified in the Google AdWords documentation and I designed a banner to then be applied to each of the different banner sizes. In doing so I noted the exact sizes specified on the Google website to ensure the banners did not get stretched or squashed when displayed. I have included four samples of the banner in the gallery beneath this article.

I recreated the banner design to be used as a print advertisement in 'The Marketer' magazine. As the image was for print media I created it at 300dpi. The image in the gallery below is a 72dpi version of it.

eConnected have a content managed GoogleMap on their website showing things like nearby hotels, restaurants, bus stations, and taxi ranks. I drew custom icons to be used on the map using Adobe Photoshop. Had the software been available I would of used Freehand/Illustrator to create them as vector images.

For the header image on eConnected's email alert I created four banners around the same theme as the Google AdWords banners. The four different banners were for the four different types of email alert that could be signed up for. There was daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. Again these were made in Adobe Photoshop.
